Haen Meats Cooking Tips/Meat Preparation
Ham Heating Instructions
Your Haen ham is fully cooked. Because there is no water added, over heating the ham can cause it to become dry. If desired, score ham and add cloves, pineapple, and a layer of brown sugar to the top of the ham. Place ham on a raised rack in a pan. Add 1/2" liquid to the bottom of the pan. Water, white soda, apple cider, or a sweet cooking wine work great. Place covered in a 325° oven for approximately 7-8 minutes per pound. Internal temperature of the ham should be around 130° for serving. Slice ham and layer in juices to keep warm and moist for serving. Enjoy.
